Paratransit
Paratransit Driver
Many of Keystone Quality Transport’s clients do not require the
degree of care an ambulance can provide but still need some
degree of assistance in traveling from one location to another.
Whether it is a doctor visit, a hospital procedure, or a day out
with others, paratransit provides a very important service to
those who are less mobile.
What are the duties of a paratransit driver?
A paratransit driver must have a clean driving record. Keystone
provides drivers with CPR training. A driver is taught how to
properly move a wheelchair, operate the wheelchair lift, and
safely and properly secure the chair and client in the van.
Good “people skills” valued for in candidates for this position.
We want people who are more than “a ride”. We want good
people that help to make the client’s experience a safe and
enjoyable experience every time.
